★为什么成绩忽高忽低，总是不稳定？
很多孩子做完一套题后就扔在一边，没有从头到尾的好好总结一下，哪些地方丢分最多？为什么会丢分？是单词看不懂，语法不会还是没有缺少做题技巧？所以，每做完一套题都应该这样总结一下，看看自己失分最多的是哪些地发，然后对症下药。
强烈建议：反复总结是快速提分的第一要领。
★为什么做了不少的题，分数总是不见涨？
学校在中考前都会布置相当数量的题让孩子做，但结果总是：原来成绩好的孩子成绩还是好，原来成绩差的孩子还是成绩差。问题在于：很多孩子不清楚自己突破口在哪里。根据多项调查结果显示：在最后的两个多月里，孩子最需要提高的单项，按照失分从多到少依次是：写作、完型、阅读、语法和听力。
强烈建议：最后的两个多月里，英语复习的重点应该放在写作、完型和阅读。
调查统计结果:
★为什么单词记不住，或是前脚刚背后脚就忘？
很多学生背单词记不住，今天背几个，明天背几个，后天就忘了差不多了。好像每天都在背，但是每天都在忘。一个不容忽视的事实就是：单词在短期内是可以集中突破的。也就是说应该在2-3周的时间内集中把单词背掉。而对于目前的初三孩子，不认识的主要是阅读和完型中的单词，这些单词只有300个左右。
★为什么完型错一半，文章看得明白，题目却做不对？
完型是很多孩子最头痛的一项，原因在于：做题方法。最有效的提高方法是：把北京市02-08年中考英语真题中的完型填空反复做5-7遍，把文章中的每个单词和短语都背得烂熟，最好能每天背诵一篇完型填空。
这样做的好处是：能精确、快速把握完型填空的内在规律，迅速提高5-8分。

2008北京市完型填空
Gilbert joined the Science Club last summer. One day he was handed a piece of paper, a block of wood and four wheels; he was told to go home and 1 them all to “dad”.
